Jeromy Pfleger
President
A native Oklahoman, Writer-Editor Jeromy Pfleger began his academic journey by earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from the University of Texas at San Antonio, holding membership in Beta Gamma Sigma honor’s society, and graduating in the top 10% of his business class. He continued his educational aspirations by earning a Master Certificate in East Asian Languages and Literature and a Master of Arts in Asian Studies specializing in Korea from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. As a graduate student, he wrote a qualitative thesis on North Korea’s political and economic crisis following the 1990s famines during Kim Jong Il’s reign and the fall of the Soviet Union. However, he yearned to continue his studies at the University of Hawaii with three and a half years of PhD scholarship in International Business-Marketing, a top-20 international business program. There, he studied under Professor Steven Vargo, twice winner of the equivalent of the Nobel Prize in the field of marketing.
Beyond his personal education, his 25-year writing-editing career spans the fields of academics, management, marketing, finance, law enforcement, and the Department of Homeland Security for the U.S. federal government. In these disparate professional fields, he had served as a university lecturer, Fortune-500 company manager, marketing director, financial advisor, deputy sheriff, and writer-editor: each with its own set of unique challenges and professional growth opportunities. These professions had offered opportunities to research, collect and analyze qualitative and quantitative data, write, edit, etc. Specifically, in his professional journey, he had conducted and presented a 10-phase, quantitative scientific study on decentralization to Iraq’s Parliament and university faculty in person and broadcast nationally. Moreover, during his 15-year tenure as university lecturer and educator, he had taught more than 10,000 undergraduate and graduate students in the fields of writing, editing, business, journalism, marketing, management, finance, civics, and mathematics spanning the United States, Asian continent, and the Middle East (i.e., Hawaii, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, and Vietnam). After globetrotting, he had been honored to serve in law enforcement as a deputy sheriff with the Roanoke City Sheriff’s Office, serving and protecting the community and defending the U.S. Constitution. He continued his career as a writer editor for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, serving as America’s narrator. As your writer editor, he hopes to craft, scribe, and voice your thoughts into a well-organized, concise, and powerful written work.
